UN Academic Impact

Southern University Bangladesh is proud to have been invited to join the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and to have attended its official launch in New York in November 2010. United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) is a global initiative that aligns institutions of higher education actively supporting ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, literacy, sustainability and conflict resolution. Southern University Bangladesh supports these principles with. As Participants in this UN initiative, we are at Southern University committed to address the ten universally accepted principles and will demonstrate our commitment to at least one of these principles each year. This year We have pleasure to inform you that an UNAI Seminar on Higher Educational Opportunity and Strategies for Education Continuity and Sustainability is scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 28 2012. Key persons from Higher Educational institutions are expected to participate. Professor Dr. A. K. Azad Chowdhury, Chairman University Grants Commission (UGC) has kindly consented to grace the occasion as Chief Guest.
